I've worked at Templar Shield for around a year. In that one year, i've learned so much about cybersecurity and working with different clients from different sectors. I joined Templar shortly after the company started, and I can honestly say it's been one of the best decisions of my life. My time at this company has been a true blessing. The leadership at Templar has always been there to provide input and advise when I'm struggling, and a pat on the back when I'm accelerating. Through their guidance and instruction I now have several engagements under my belt and have certified in over 3 GRC Tools. Templar Shield has always been more than fair to me, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for starting a new career or advancing an already established one.
It's been almost 8 years since I started at Templar. Over these years, I have grown from a GRC consultant working at a client office to a Director leading the delivery team. The open door policy here allows you to reach out to not only your reporting manager but also the partners. I have had numerous conversations with leadership about how I can improve a certain skillset and have received excellent guidance every time. As I grew in the firm, I have had the opportunity to wear multiple hats and get out of my comfort zone which in turn has led to development of new skills that I don't think I would have gained if I was restricted to a single role. The flexibility offered in terms of work location, allows you to work from the comfort of your home - pandemic or not. Templar Shield has been and continues to be my second family the entire time I have been here.
